To this end, SPH owns a specially modified Caterpillar 980H wheel loader which has been fitted with a control master teleremote unit. This machine is a clear example of our innovative focus, believed to be the first remote controlled Caterpillar wheel loader of its kind to be deployed in a surface application in South Africa.
